I have been trying to figure out a fall craft idea and when I used 2 containers of frosting I came up with an idea of decorating them. So today the girls covered the container with scrapbook stickers (since I never scrapbook anymore) and construction paper. We punched holes in the top and taped artificial fall flowers (got them last year at Hobby Lobby for 90% off I believe) to pencils to make a fall pencil holder. Notice the nice pics, they are from the new to me camera. We love fall, we love crafts, and really love frugal crafts! :-)

Have you CVSed lately?
Well, with business comes no time for good deals. It seems like lately you have to hunt a good deal at CVS. This week though is a great week to stock up on Tide. We were able to get 4 bottles of Tide and a bottle of Dawn for just $8.95 and we got back $10.00 in ECBs. We used 4 $1.00 Tide coupons and a $.25 coupon for Dawn. The deal is buy $25.00 worth of certain products and get back $10.00 ECBs. It was a great time for us to get this deal because we were running out of detergent. Click here to see other great deals.
Looks like Wal-Greens has great deals this week especially with over the counter cold medicine. Rite Aid has some good deals also. Click here for Rite Aid and here for Wal-Greens.
Thank you moneysavingmom!

A Nice Surprise
A friend of mine saw me using my current camera on a recent ladies getaway to Helen, GA and I was complaining to her about how it takes great outside pictures, but for some reason it will not take good inside pictures anymore. She stated that she had an extra camera and I could buy it from her. I went by her house today and bought this camera for a few dollars and it works GREAT!!! This is the camera and it's a Kodak Z712 IS. I can hardly wait to post some pics from this new toy of mine! :-)
Melanie's Tea Party
We had a ball celebrating Melanie's birthday with a tea party. Her birthday was a couple of weeks ago, but we just now celebrated with a few friends. We played several games, made sugar cookies, painted nails, and had a pinata. Every little lady got to take home a tea cup, tea, and sugar cookies. I would post more pics but my camera takes pitiful pictures now. :-(

What we did today
Well, it's not perfect but I thought I would post what we have been doing today. We are studying Rome, so today we got to make a Roman arch. I love when school is hands on!

SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING
Ok, I had to post this and this isn't everything. I had already put 8 boxes of Green Giant veggies in the freezer along with (3) 2 pound bags of Birds Eye veggies and you will also need to include a pack of Japanese noodles that I had started cooking in the microwave. I'm sorry about the light on the stove. Anyway, pictured : 2 bags gold fish, box of trash bags, 2 toaster strudels, 1 Keebler cookies, 1 lb butter, 2 jars Paul Newman sauce, 4 Old El Paso dinner kits, 3 soups in a cup, 3 foil pans, 4 Hormel dinners, 4 Healthy Choice dinners, 2 cans dog food, 2 boxes jello, 6 boxes pasta, (3) 6 packs of yogurt, 2 packs Chex.
The deals are from Bloom (triple coupons) and Publix (double coupons). I paid $12.00 and some change at Blooms and $24.00 and some change at Publix. I'm so excited because I haven't done a great deal like this in awhile.
